Welcome to untMAKE.org — the quintessential, unofficial, art, design, and culture blog of, by, and for the North Texas community. MAKE is here to provide you with information on whats going on in the Denton/DFW area, but we hope to be more than just an aggregate. We want to make things happen. MAKE is here to connect like-minded and unlike-minded groups and individuals to serve as a hub for interaction and a catalyst for change.

We believe that real growth can not come from only interacting with the same kinds of people day in and day out. The separate tracks in local art programs, and in fact the programs themselves, have been separated too long, we need to get together and make some great things happen. In this case, ‘North Texas’ does not necessarily mean UNT. We hope to have a team of writers at both UNT and TWU, from all stages and facets, as well as those that have left the nest.
